ABOUTME
Artist. Musician. Luthier. Entrepreneur. Parent. Advocate. Radically Authentic Trans.
Welcome to BetaRat.net — a little corner of the internet dedicated to creativity, curiosity, personal growth, and the unapologetic pursuit of authenticity.
I’m Beta James, a transgender woman, artist, musician, luthier, entrepreneur, and proud parent navigating the beautifully complicated experience of being human. I’ve spent much of my life creating things, taking things apart, figuring out how they work, and occasionally putting them back together in ways that make a little more sense. Whether I’m repairing a guitar, composing music, creating visual art, or examining the beliefs and assumptions that shape our lives, curiosity has always been one of my greatest driving forces. And somewhere along the way, I realized that the most important thing I’d ever have to rebuild was my understanding of myself.
